British Soccer
Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare
opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of
international experts. Each day includes individual foot skills,
technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached
scrimmages, and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger
coaching staff provides your child with lessons in respect,
responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership. Camp programs
include a free ball and shirt and a free British Soccer jersey for on
line registrations 45 days prior to camp!

Welcome
AYSO is a
non-profit volunteer organization dependent on a few people performing
major tasks and handling many minor functions so that more than 2,700
kids, including our growing VIP Program for Very Important
Players with special needs, can experience the fun of soccer
in Rancho Cucamonga.
Here
at Region 65 we believe in an environment that is "Fun, Fair, &
Safe" for all children. The focus is that children come first, not
winning the game. As one region has
printed on the back of the coaches shirts; "They play, we coach, you
cheer." We agree with that
statement to ensure that each child has a good time playing together,
making new friends, and learning the game of soccer.
Please visit Sideline
Etiquette.
An important aspect of the AYSO program is Sportsmanship.
Our children need to experience:
1. The fun of hard fought but fair competition
2. Winning graciously
3. Losing graciously
4. Improving one’s abilities through practice
5. Learning the social skills involved in being a member of a team, and
6. Acknowledging good play by teammates as well as opponents
This
region is made up of volunteers; Parents
just like you. If you would like to volunteer
in any way, just ask anyone wearing a red AYSO logo shirt (these are
the board members) and they will direct you, even if you do not know
much about soccer.
Our
coaches attend age specific training clinics each season with practice
times that are age specific at our fields.
Our
area of greatest need right now are referees. If
you are interested in volunteering to become a referee, AYSO
has referee clinics that you can attend. Won't you
please consider becoming an AYSO referee? New referees are
NOT expected to referee games played by our teenagers.
New referees will start reffing games of
younger aged children.
While
you are here, please take time to consider and review the following at: www.ayso.org
Street
& Parking Lot Safety: Protecting
yourself and your players around the field, during practices and games.
Is
Heading Safe? In response to concerns over the
long-term results of heading the ball, AYSO has adopted the AYSO
Heading Policy. Also discusses the concerns.
Hydration:
How hydration can help prevent and treat heat exhaustion, heat stroke,
dehydration and other heat-related illnesses.
Nutrition:
Eating right for health and game performance.
It is the
responsibility of the coach to know all school
Black Out dates for their practices. All the phone numbers
will be in the Coach's Manual. Our
Parent Handbook is full of useful information for everyone.
To make the game more enjoyable for the children, please visit Sideline

allowed on our School fields (we do love dogs). Don't forget to
